What the Gem of the Forest is

The Gem of the Forest is a green, cracked spherical crystal used to craft the Crafting Bench Level 5, plus three other high-tier items:

  • Weather Machine
  • Temporal Accelerometer
  • Respawn Capsule

How to get the Gem of the Forest

There are four ways to obtain it (or its fragments):

  1. Defeat cultists in a nighttime raid after Day 100. The last cultist of a late-game raid can drop a fragment.
  2. Raid the Cultist Stronghold. Completing the stronghold is one of the most reliable sources.
  3. Open Golden or Ruby Chests. Ruby Chests can drop a fragment as an extra reward.
  4. Combine 4 fragments. Drag four Gem of the Forest Fragments onto each other to craft one full gem.

The fastest route for most players is the Cultist Stronghold, since it gives a chance at full gems without waiting for Day 100.

What's a fragment?

Fragments are the broken pieces of the gem. You need 4 fragments to make one complete Gem of the Forest.
